1. About PathfindR

PathfindR is an AI-powered goal planning and career coaching service available at getpathfindr.com. It is operated by Niklas Grabe-Watson as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom.

By creating an account or using PathfindR, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. The service we provide

PathfindR uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised goal roadmaps and coaching advice. You understand and agree that:

• PathfindR provides AI-generated suggestions and guidance only — not professional advice
• The roadmaps and coaching responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
• PathfindR is not a substitute for professional career, financial, legal, medical, or any other regulated advice
• You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on content generated by PathfindR
• We make no guarantee that using PathfindR will result in achieving any particular goal or outcome

3. Your account

To use PathfindR you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use PathfindR. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PathfindR to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service or its AI outputs for commercial purposes
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and payments

PathfindR offers a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan. The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly at the price shown at the time of purchase
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by UK consumer law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a subscription. However, by using the Pro features immediately after subscribing, you waive this right in respect of services already provided.

6. Content you submit

You retain ownership of the goals, information, and content you submit to PathfindR. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit (including CV content) does not violate any third party's rights.

7. AI-generated content

PathfindR uses large language models (currently Groq/Llama and Anthropic/Claude) to generate roadmaps and coaching responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• AI outputs are not professional advice of any kind
• You should independently verify any important information before acting on it
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content

8. Intellectual property

PathfindR, including its name, logo, design, code, and copy, is owned by Niklas Grabe-Watson and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of PathfindR without our written permission.

The PathfindR name and branding are our intellectual property. Any unauthorised use of our brand is prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

• PathfindR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PathfindR
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
• We are not liable for any career, financial, or other decisions you make based on PathfindR's AI-generated content

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep PathfindR available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of PathfindR after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete my account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
